Billy celebrated his #1 single “Hey Girl” with a VIP party in Nashville and he brought the perfect date! His date was his 84 year-old grandmother, Evelyn.

Billy told us at the party that grandma loves Music City: “She’s a big fan of the Opryland hotel, you know, all the lights! I took her there a few years ago one time…she just loves it and has been talking about it for a year since then. She’s having a great time, she loves this town. This is her first number one party.”

Billy says of his grandma she is one special lady: “You know how those Southern belles talk down there? She’s one of the last ones. They don’t talk that way in Savannah too much anymore unless you see it on the TV or something. But she’s got that same lingo. It’s all rare and very rare.”
